Whoo Hoo …. my new knitting bag arrived today! I managed to de-stash enough yarn on Ravelry to afford it! Say hello to FiFi!
I bought her on Etsy from Persnickity Knits. She offers three sizes, so I thought the middle size would be a good choice. I love how chic and simple it is.
Cooley says, ” What’s inside?”
The lining color would not be my first choice, but I do think it’s standard (as all the bags offer the same color lining.) The advantage is that it’s easy to clean.
So, this baby has SO many pockets! Just the right size for my essentials (row counter, scissors, tape measure, and box with darning needles and stitch markers.) It also has an elastic loop to hold needles and a clip to hold other things in place.
There is plenty of room, as you can see, for my current WIP – a pair of socks. I try to work on small projects while I’m at work so I don’t have to carry the bulk. But if I did want a little more space …. she expands!
Like I said … lots of space! It was hard choosing which color to buy. I really liked the baby blue leather, but I thought black would go with everything. The other thing I like is that I can stick my ID and debit card in one of the slots and go out for the evening with my knitting in toe. It will get used mostly to carry my knitting in my work bag, but it’s nice to know that I can take it anywhere.
