Are there no prisons? No work houses?
I’m kidding! I hope that all of you have a very Merry Christmas (and of course, Happy Hanukkah to all my Jewish friends out there in blog land!)
I have to work tonight but … and cross your fingers now … I may only have to work four hours tonight. Our patient census is really low, so there are too many people scheduled to work. That would be really nice. I could come home, watch some Christmas movies, and knit for a while on the couch. What a great Christmas gift from my Unit Manager! But the one thing I can’t wait for tonight is to hand out all of the presents and goodies to my co-workers and patients!
May your all recieve wonderful gifts (and really nice yarn!) as well as spend some quality time with your family and friends! Have a good one!
The Knight has duty tonight too. My nephew’s running with him, so that gives me some small comfort.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! – How lucky for you census is low – our’s is so high were holding in the ER for 30+ hours before getting beds 😦 – Thankfully I’m off until the 1st 🙂 K
