No, not me. Although my knee has been killing me, and I keep offering Jan (my nurse at work) $100 to chop off my knee cap, but she won’t do it. Anyhoo, I was working on Glee the other night and I realized that I had gone about 10 rows too far. This is what happens when you knit at work and you have tons of call bells going off. So I took the entire thing off the needles to rip what I needed.
I was really tired, but I think I got it to the point where I’m ready to separate for the sleeves. I’m going to try to work on it tomorrow, when I’m not so drowsy. It’s my long week, where I only have two days off in a row instead of three, but I know next week I will definitely get some good progress going.
The other project I started is top secret! It’s Karen’s birthday gift, and even thought I doubt she’s going to check out my blog, better safe than sorry. I’ll tell you this … the yarn is my favorite – Kathmandu Aran!
I finally found the info and signed up for Secret Pal 12! I’m really happy to hear that they are doing two price ranges for groups this year! I signed up for the $10/month group. This way, if I have a little extra money, I can send more, but if I don’t, that’s okay too.
Speaking of swaps, there are still about 20 spots open for my Summer of Yarn Love swap. Spots are filling up quickly though, so if you want in on the fun … stop by the blog and sign on up! And I’m so happy to see so many first time swappers! I love to give a great experience to those who have never swapped before.
BTW – Happy Memorial Day everyone! Here’s to all the men and women that have served and are serving for freedom! I’m not very pro-military, but I will admit … it takes balls to do what they do, and it’s something that I don’t think I could do. So hats off to them. Also, Anne has a really great Memorial Day post – check it out!
