I’m up way too late. I really should go to bed and get some extra sleep, as I have to return to work tomorrow. But I’m busy laying a rough plan for our honeymoon to Nova Scotia!
So I know some of you live in Canada or have visited. If I haven’t already said so, John and I are going to Nova Scotia for our honeymoon. A whole week to relax by the bays and the ocean! And the best thing is, I think we can do the flight/hotels/car for under $2000!
But what I am curious about is, have any of you been to or lived in Nova Scotia? We are planning on splitting our trip between Halifax and Digby, and I just wanted to know if you have recommendations on places to say, things to see and do, great places to eat? I’ve found a couple B&Bs that I wouldn’t mind staying at, but if anyone has had a great experience, I’d love to hear about it!

No, not into that dream house that I had a really great dream about the other night. But after much debate, I have decided to join the Dark Side *tee hee*, and move from Blogger to Word Press. I like the look of this site more …. it’s cleaner and more structured. I feel like I can do so much more with my page as well. And I’m going to do my best to actually tag things now (unlike in the past, when I never EVER did that. Not once.) Also, my Live Journal account is about to exhaust itself as well. So I figured … new year, new blog host. Why the hell not?
And for all of you who sent me the most wonderful “Get Well” comments, thank you! I’m feeling better, not 100%, but better. I managed to convince myself to get out of the house yesterday, so John and I had a ‘date night’. We went for sushi after a matinee of National Treasure : The Book of Secrets. Don’t listen to the critics people, just don’t do it! This movie was fantastic and amazing and truly a wonderful sequel to the first addition. We both loved it.
I’ve also been playing with my new toy. I LOVE my Kitchen Aid mixer. I’ve already made three loaves of bread and whip cream. Now I can’t wait to get the attachments! I feel more empowered in the kitchen now and believe me you, there will be much more cooking and baking now.
The rest of the night, I’m taking it easy. I have a couple movies to watch, and plan on knitting a bit, since I’ve been too sick to even do that. I’m working on a pair of socks for myself, but I need to get my butt moving on the baby sweater, Pay It Forward projects 2 & 3, and the socks for my SITMT partner.
