Do you knit, crochet or both? How long have you been doing it?

I knit, and I’ve been knitting for a couple years now. I learned to knit while I was living in New York State.

What is on your needles/hook right now?

A baby cardigan for my co-worker Steph, who is expecting in February; socks for my Sock It To Me Twice swap partner, and socks for me!

What is the most frequently used tool in your knitting bag?

That’s a tie …. probably my katcha-katcha row counter and my tape measure.

What are your 3 favorite yarns (fiber type or brand)? What are your 3 least favorite?

Favorites : Cascade 220, Kathmadu, and Manos Del Uruguay (I love the multi colors)

Lease Favorite : Acrylic, cotton, and acrylic

What is your favorite color?

Purple!

If you had a 5 minute shopping spree in your LYS, how would you plan your attack?

Head straight for the Mountain Colors and grab an arm full. Then find the Louet Gems and grab and arm full of that. And if there’s still time, head over to the sock yarn! And of course, I’d have John to hold everything.

What is your favorite FO and why? (post a pic if you have it!)

The shawl that I made for my Mom. It was a true labor of love and she’s so pleased with it!

What are your favorite things to knit/crochet?

Socks, because one can never have too many pairs of hand knit socks; Shawls, because I was so proud of myself after I made Mom’s, and I know that I could really do it!

Do you collect anything?

Chopsticks, and lawn/garden gnomes!

What are your five favorite things (not necessarily knitting related)?

Yarn, my Kitchen Aid stand mixer, my IPOD Nano, family photos, and double dutch chocolate muffins

Do you drink tea/coffee/cocoa?

I’m a tea drinker. Cocoa is great too, and I love coffee but my body hates it (in the worst way.)

Dove chocolate, Cadburry caramel chocolate, and Mike and Ikes

None that I can think of.

Do you have pets? kids?

We have one pet – an orange Tabby cat, Mavy. And no kids … not yet.
